Early Intervention Services
Early intervention provides supports and services to infants/toddlers and young children with disabilities and their caregivers so that they may help the child grow and develop. Early intervention supports and services are embedded within learning opportunities that exist in the child’s typical routines, within the home and community activities and or early education programs. Early intervention supports and services build on the existing family, community, and early education resources. Early intervention personnel work collaboratively with the family and each other to provide coordinated, flexible, early intervention supports and services.
