Court Ordered Evaluations

Lenape Valley Foundation has been providing forensic mental health services to the criminal justice system for over 25 years.  We offer unique forensic services for adults in Bucks County.   Our dedicated mental health clinicians evaluate individuals to answer questions of competency to stand trial, relationship of a mental disorder to an accident or crime, even the potential for future dangerous behavior. In addition to conducting interviews and administering psychological tests, forensic history is gathered, including hospital records, police reports, and witness statements.  Most importantly, recommendations for comprehensive mental health treatment, remediation of competency, and other relevant legal questions are addressed. In addition to providing forensic evaluations, LVF clinicians have the unique ability to connect individuals involved in the criminal justice system to a multitude of community treatment programs provided by Lenape Valley Foundation and other providers.
