Children’s Services

Childhood is often considered a happy-go-lucky time, or the “best years of your life”. This myth can make families reluctant to seek services when needed. Like adults, children can experience depression, anxiety, and problems related to adjusting to a new circumstance.

Millions of children suffer from mental illness in America, however only one in five receive treatment of any kind. Lenape Valley Foundation (LVF) offers a full spectrum of services, dependent on the needs of the individual child and family. LVF’s Children’s Services departments specialize in assisting children and their families reach their full potential by providing individualized, compassionate care. Participation by members of the family is welcome and encouraged.

Information and referral services are available to answer any questions you may have regarding how to help your child begin feeling and living better. For additional information about any of the programs offered, please feel free to download a copy of our Children’s Services brochure (PDF below) or call the individual program director directly. We welcome your call to inquire about how we may help your child and your family.
