What do you like most about working at LVF?

The way LVF employees treat all the clients and each other with empathy, respect and kindness.

What is your best memory at LVF?

Every time a PHP client is discharged and being able to see the wonderful transition they have made since their first day. Most times they leave with a hopeful smile.

What brought you to LVF when you initially applied?

I was looking for a position that would make me feel that I was doing good helping others, over just another paycheck.

What’s a “day in the life” like for you at LVF?

Well, every day is different. It can start very early picking up clients who attend PHP and TOP. Checking with the other drivers to find out how they made out on their runs. Schedule the afternoon runs and write the transportation list for the following day. Review the Driver Referrals to take clients to their varying types of appointments that have been submitted and try to do my very best to accommodate them.

Reviewing which vehicles are due for inspection or service. Then contact the different departments to schedule their vehicles for service as they are available.

What is your favorite hobby or pastime activity outside of work?

I enjoy volunteering at the Delaware Valley Food Pantry in Lambertville and preparing food for the weekly Centenary Methodist Church community lunch, also in Lambertville.
