Children’s Services

Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services

BHRS services offer families with children up to age 21 trauma-based, therapeutic, and behavioral treatment interventions. Services are authorized based upon meeting medical necessity criteria. They are supportive, intensive, family focused, and time limited in scope. All services, with the exception of the psychological evaluation, are provided in home and community settings that include: school, day programs, after school programs, camp, and others as appropriate. The BHRS model offers and promotes collaboration between family, providers, and system supports across all settings for the duration of treatment. Team members work with families on a shared goal of needing less intensive treatment and increased utilization of family and community supports.

For more information about BHRS services, please contact the program director at 267-893-5430.
