Early Intervention Services

Early intervention provides supports and services to infants/toddlers and young children with disabilities and their caregivers, so that they may help the child grow and develop. Early intervention supports and services are embedded within learning opportunities that exist in the child’s typical routines, within the home and community activities and or early education programs. Early intervention supports and services build on the existing family, community, and early education resources. Personnel work collaboratively with the family and each other to provide coordinated, flexible supports and services.

The Center on the Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning (CSEFEL) is focused on promoting the social and emotional development and school readiness of young children from birth to age 5. For more information or to read more about this, please click here to visit CSEFEL’s web site.

For additional information about EI services, please contact the department’s administrative assistant at 267-893-5402. To refer a child, please contact the department's director at michelle.taylor@lenapevf.org.

Please be sure to visit our Early Intervention Facebook page at www.facebook.com/LVFEI.
