When a behavioral health crisis happens, knowing where to turn can make all the difference. Lenape Valley Foundation’s Bright Path Center offers 24/7 walk-in crisis services for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing mental health or substance use challenges. Adults and youth have separate entrances, waiting rooms, and treatment spaces. Our team will provide immediate assessment, support, stabilization, and connection to the most appropriate level of care.

What to Expect
Seeking help during a crisis can feel overwhelming. Our compassionate, trauma-informed team is here to support you every step of the way.
When you arrive at Bright Path Center, you will be welcomed by a member of our team and asked to provide information to help us begin a comprehensive crisis assessment.
Following the assessment, a crisis professional will work with you to understand your situation, identify immediate needs, and develop a personalized plan for moving forward. Depending on your circumstances, services you receive may include:
- Crisis counseling and support
- Education and coping strategies
- Brief physical health assessment
- Psychiatric evaluation, based on individual needs and circumstances
- Connection to community resources
- Referral to outpatient behavioral health services
- Referral to partial hospitalization or intensive outpatient programs
- Referral to the Lodge, crisis residential program
- Coordination of admission to psychiatric inpatient care when needed
- Substance use assessment and referral to substance use treatment services
Our goal is to help you stabilize the immediate crisis, identify next steps, and connect you with the ongoing support needed for recovery and wellness.
