988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline
988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline
When someone is experiencing a mental health, substance use, or emotional crisis, immediate support can make all the difference. Lenape Valley Foundation now operates the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline for Bucks County, providing local access to trained crisis professionals 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Similar to how 911 connects people to emergency medical and public safety services, 988 provides a simple, easy-to-remember number for behavioral health crises. Individuals can call, text, or chat with trained specialists who offer compassionate, confidential support and help connect callers to appropriate local resources and services.
