11th Annual Golf Outing Raises $45,000
Lenape Valley Foundation (LVF) hosted its 11th annual Golf Outing on Monday, August 10, at Doylestown Country Club in Bucks County, PA. As the first golf outing to be held at the country club during the COVID-19 pandemic, LVF organized a modified format to allow for social distancing.
The event, chaired by LVF board member, Robert Rogala of Doylestown, PA, attracted 91 golfers. Approximately $45,000 was raised to help to fund the expansion of LVF’s children’s services. This includes outfitting the newly-renovated children’s services wing in LVF’s Doylestown office, which allows the opportunity to serve more children in an environment designed specifically for their needs. This expansion is desperately needed as the number of families seeking help for their loved ones is ever-increasing. LVF is particularly suited to meet this need with a cadre of child service experts in the fields of psychiatry, crisis services and outpatient therapy.
For more than 60 years, LVF has provided compassionate assistance and hope to thousands of children, adults, and families in Bucks County. LVF offers a comprehensive behavioral health system serving individuals within the service areas of mental health, intellectual disabilities, and early intervention. The foundation’s mission is to partner with members of our community encountering mental health, substance use, intellectual or developmental challenges as they pursue their personal aspirations and an enhanced quality of life.
