Donors Help Spread Holiday Cheer to More than 470 People

Lenape Valley Foundation helped to make the holidays much brighter for those in need. Through its annual Holiday Assistance Program, LVF facilitated the distribution of holiday gifts to more than 470 clients and their family members living in Bucks County and the surrounding region.

Over 150 generous donors, which included individuals, community groups, local companies, and businesses, donated thousands of gifts to low-income community members by “adopting” them for the holidays. The gifts were purchased, wrapped, and delivered to LVF in time to make the holidays very special for these individuals and families.

Since 1958, Lenape Valley Foundation has partnered with residents of Bucks County encountering mental health, substance use, and intellectual or developmental challenges, providing services to assist them in the pursuit of their personal aspirations and an enhanced quality of life. Lenape Valley Foundation is a private, nonprofit provider of crisis, information and referral, treatment, case management, residential, consultation, and psycho-educational services.

To inquire about “adopting” or donating to the Holiday Assistance Program in the future, please call 267-893-5280 or email suzanne.rhodeside@lenapevf.org. For information regarding Lenape Valley Foundation and its services, please visit www.lenapevf.org or call 215-345-5300.
