Golf Outing Raises more than $68,000 for New Crisis Center

Lenape Valley Foundation (LVF) hosted its 17th annual Golf Outing on June 15, at Doylestown Country Club in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
Chaired by LVF board member Robert Marchand of Warwick, Pennsylvania, the outing raised more than $68,000 and attracted 120 golfers. Proceeds will support the opening of Bright Path Center, a new behavioral health crisis center opening this summer in Doylestown.
The first of its kind in Pennsylvania, Bright Path Center will unite an array of behavioral health crisis services under one roof, delivering acute, trauma-informed, person-centered care in a calming environment. Experienced behavioral health professionals will be on-site around the clock to welcome, assess, and stabilize those experiencing urgent challenges related to mental health, drug and alcohol use, and/or intellectual disabilities. With separate spaces for children and adults, Bright Path Center is specially designed to offer compassionate care to individuals and families to de-escalate a critical situation and determine the best path forward to hope and healing.
