A Message from the Board President

May 2024

Friends of LVF,

I am honored to introduce myself as the newly elected President of the Board of Directors of Lenape Valley Foundation. As I take on this leadership position, I am reminded of the immense responsibility we all carry in ensuring the well-being of our community, particularly when it comes to behavioral health. Today, I hope to reach you with a call to action that is urgent and impactful.

Our nonprofit is dedicated to the critical mission of suicide prevention, a cause that touches the lives of many individuals and families in our community. One of the cornerstones of our efforts is the annual Suicide Prevention Conference, a gathering that has served as a catalyst for education and collaboration for over 15 years. Planned for October 1, 2024, this conference brings together experts and advocates impacted by suicide, providing a platform for dialogue, education, and healing. Your donation will help ensure the success of this pivotal event, allowing us to reach more people, share vital resources, and ultimately save lives.

Furthermore, I am pleased to announce that we have broken ground on our newest endeavor, the Bright Path Center. Located in Doylestown, this comprehensive crisis center will serve as a lifeline for those in their darkest moments, offering immediate support, treatment, and resources to individuals contemplating suicide or facing behavioral health crises. With your generosity, we can ensure that the Bright Path Center becomes a sanctuary of hope and healing for all who seek support within its walls.

Your donation, no matter the size, will directly contribute to the success of these vital initiatives. Together, we can make a profound impact on the lives of individuals struggling with mental health challenges and work towards a future where every person feels supported and valued.

I invite you to join us on this journey to hope and healing. Together, let us pave a brighter path forward for our community.

With gratitude,

Rob Hutchison

President of the Board of Directors
