LVF Announces New COO and CFO

Doylestown, Pa. July 17, 2023 – Lenape Valley Foundation (LVF), a nonprofit behavioral health organization that helps over 14,000 people each year, announces that Kristopher Thompson has been named chief operating officer, and Carlo Candalla has been named chief financial officer.

 

Kristopher Thompson previously held the position of associate executive director of crisis services and has been an employee of LVF since 2002.  As chief operating officer, Thompson will oversee the delivery of clinical services in the crisis, mobile and outpatient programs, in addition to its facilities and IT operations. He is a licensed clinical social worker and serves as co-chair of the Bucks County Suicide Prevention Taskforce and is a board member for the Crisis Residential Association. Thompson steps into this role after the retirement of Marjorie Morgan, former chief operating officer and employee of LVF for over 25 years.

 

Carlo Candalla joined LVF in April as controller and will now oversee the fiscal and billing operations of the organization’s $29 million annual budget. He previously served as chief financial officer of Wedge Medical Center in Philadelphia and is also an adjunct faculty member at Franklin Pierce University. Candalla holds a master’s in business administration from the Florida Institute of Technology.

 

Lenape Valley Foundation provides more than 35 programs aimed at addressing mental and behavioral health, early intervention services, and intellectual disability support.
