Lenape Valley Foundation Golf Outing Raises More Than $62,000

Doylestown, PA., June 29, 2023 – Lenape Valley Foundation (LVF) hosted its 14th annual Golf Outing on Monday, June 12, at Doylestown Country Club in Doylestown, PA.

The event, co-chaired by LVF board members, Robert Marchand of Warwick, PA and Joseph Nolan, of New Britain, PA attracted 117 golfers and raised more than $62,000. Proceeds from this year’s event will support the opening of a new behavioral health crisis center in Bucks County. This new center, which will be located in Doylestown, will greatly improve the environment and quality of care for children, adults and families who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis. It is anticipated to open in late 2024.

For more than 60 years, LVF has provided compassionate assistance and hope to thousands of children, adults, and families in Bucks County. LVF offers a comprehensive behavioral health system serving individuals within the service areas of mental health, intellectual disabilities, and early intervention. The foundation’s mission is to partner with members of our community encountering mental health, substance use, intellectual or developmental challenges as they pursue their personal aspirations and an enhanced quality of life.
