LVF Welcomes New Board Member Denise O’Donnell
Lenape Valley Foundation (LVF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Denise O’Donnell, RN, BSN, MN, to its Board of Directors. With over 50 years of experience in nursing, healthcare administration, and consulting, O’Donnell brings a wealth of knowledge and a strong dedication to improving health and mental health services throughout the community.
Throughout her career, O’Donnell has held leadership roles with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and various health systems and consulting firms. Most recently, she served as a Nurse Consultant with Health Care Management Solutions, LLC, where she partnered with CMS and the CDC on infection control initiatives in nursing facilities and hospitals. She has also performed federal surveys of nursing homes, ambulatory surgical centers, and home health agencies.
O’Donnell holds a Master of Nursing in Gerontological Nursing from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and a Master’s in Aging Services Management from the University of Southern California. Her career has been driven by a passion for elder care, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and mental health advocacy.
In addition to her professional achievements, O’Donnell remains active in the community as a Reiki Master and volunteer with the KIN Wellness and Support Center in Edison Furlong, PA. She serves on the Board of Shadybrook Inc. in Ohio and is a member of the Village Improvement Association (VIA) of Doylestown Hospital, where she contributes to the subcommittee focused on emotional well-being.
